What you can do to rid yourself of adware.

There are many things you can do to help protect your system from the affects of adware. The primary things you can do are the following:

1. Get some form of anti-adware software installed on your computer. Having anti-adware programs installed is not enough though; you need to make sure that they are constantly updated with the most recent upgrades. If you don't, then your software will only provide you with a false sense of security from adware.
2. Make sure to read everything there is about something you want to download. If you have read the section about how adware gets on your computer, then you will know that it is required by law to state whether or not software has adware bundled with it.
3. Don't go to places you would not trust on the Internet. Websites that host such things as pornography, full-version illegal downloads, or anything else "underground-related" have had a reputation of delivering adware, spyware and malware to unsuspecting users.
