If you are at all familiar with NoAdware, you will know that it has had quite a reputation, and not a good one. When this adware solution made its debut on the Internet, not many people were impressed. You could consider this product your textbook version of an over-promised and under-performed adware solution. In fact, if you decide to do a search for NoAdware (specifically its earlier versions), chances are you will find some web pages that do nothing less that bash this so-called "adware solution".
Fortunately, NoAdware has performed a 180 degree turn when it comes to their current product. Whether it be from the amount of negative feedback they received, or the amount of refunds they were forced to give, NoAdware has changed it's product an image from something that made people frown to a very competitive adware solution.
In its most current version, NoAdware targets the two things that people want most from an adware solution: ease of use and the ability to effectively prevent, detect, and remove adware from systems. In the past, the only way you were able to get this through NoAdware was through listening or reading through their advertiements.
When you first open NoAdware, it will immediately ask you to update the adware definitions. This is extremely important, both in adware and security software alike, in that the adware software is only as effective as its definitions. By having an unavoidable pop up remind you to update your definitions every time you start up NoAdware, there is no one to blame for outdated software except for the user.

When it comes to NoAdware's user-interface, saying it is extremely simplistic is not an over-exaggeration. The developers of NoAdware designed their interface in such a way that the most computer-illiterate person in the world should know how to use it. In it's simplest form, you can detect and eliminate adware in two steps: (1) click the "Scan My PC" button, wait for the scan to complete, and (2) click the Clean button to remove all of the detected adware infections from your computer. It really doesn't get easier than that.
In the end, it is really pleasing to see the dramatic turnaround NoAdware has done for their product. From feeling disappoint just from hearing the word "NoAdware", this adware solution has really developed itself into being a strong competitor in the adware market. Being the price it is, NoAdware definitely gives you robust adware protection for the money. Some of the main points to consider about this adware solution are the following:
- Very simple to install and use
- Has built-in update features
- Multiple options for customer and technical support
- Has a built-in backup function in case removed adware affects your computer in a negative manner
- Runs in the background of your computer to provide constant protection while your computer is on
