The reason it may think your homepage was hijacked is because it expects your homepage to be www.microsoft.com. If your homepage is anything else, then XoftSpy will probably warn you about it. Another problem with this is that it seems to only work for Internet Explorer. If you use any other browser (i.e. Firefox, Opera, etc.) then it will not be able to detect if your homepage was hijacked or not.
